On September 7, 2012, the world lost a remarkable and inspirational young woman who achieved so much and touched the lives of so many people in her short life.
Faith Danielle Hedgepeth was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She was a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with dreams for her future, a beautiful smile and a spirit that left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved her.
We continue to celebrate Faith’s life, honor her memory and seek justice in her name.

SUPPORTING FAITH'S FAMILY DURING THE TRIAL
On September 28, 2026, more than fourteen years after Faith Danielle Hedgepeth's death, the trial in her case is scheduled to begin. Our family is preparing for what is expected to be a lengthy and emotionally difficult court process.
For several weeks, members of Faith's immediate family will be making significant sacrifices to be present throughout the trial. Some immediate family members will be staying locally near the courthouse, while others will commute approximately 140 miles round trip each day. Over the course of a trial expected to last several weeks, the costs of lodging, transportation, meals and other trial-related expenses will quickly add up.
Many people have asked how they can help, and we are deeply grateful for the continued love, prayers and support shown to Faith and our family throughout the past fourteen years.
Contributions and proceeds from Justice for Faith T-shirts, buttons and car decals will help offset the family's trial-related expenses. Any funds remaining after those needs are met may also be used to support the Faith's Smile Faith Hedgepeth Memorial Scholarship.
